Kaami Slings Flora Ring-Sling (prototype)
I had the pleasure of meeting Krystyna Kordes, the owner of Kaami Slings, last year at a training course and she already told me that new thinner slings were being planned. Now I am allowed to test one of these thin slings as a ring sling.

Information about the sling and the manufacturer Kaami Slings
Kaami Slings is a North German manufacturer founded by Krystyna Cordes. She is also a babywearing consultant herself and fulfilled a dream by founding Kaami Slings. In the meantime, there are various sling designs, all of which are also available in different colors.
Some slings have also been made into cloth diapers in cooperation with Maleja Bio.
The ring sling is very pleasantly soft, but also grippy. The floral pattern is subtly accentuated in the chosen colors and does not look obtrusive. Due to the jacquard fabric, the colors are exactly reversed on the back. Price-wise, the ring sling will be around 75€ and is thus in the middle price segment. It is also significantly cheaper than the thicker, limited edition models from Kaami Slings.
When worn
I tested the ring sling extensively with my newborn daughter. The sling was very comfortable on the shoulder. Due to the thin weave, the cloth material in the rings could be sorted well and also tightened. The fabric had a pleasant grip and did not slip. Since I could tighten so well, the sling was very comfortable even when worn for long periods, despite the one-sided load. The fabric also did not bunch up in the back of my knees, which is due to the low basis weight.

Washing
Because my case was a tester, I did not wash the ring sling. However, pure cotton is generally sturdy and easy to care for, so there shouldn't be any issues here. Also, the fabric of the ring sling does not seem to be susceptible.
Conclusion about the ring sling from Kaami Slings
I can recommend the tested ring sling prototype, 100%. It is really very comfortable, the fabric can be tightened and sorted well. The price-performance ratio is also very good.
