Sensimo Korina Flower Tragetuch

As you may have noticed, I was allowed to test a sling from the manufacturer Sensimo Slings for a week, namely the Korina Flower in size 6. I must admit that the color does not completely convince me, which is why I was very curious about the wearing properties and the weave.

When the package finally arrived and I was allowed to unpack the sling, a very soft, rather thin cloth awaited me, despite the basis weight of 280g / m². The fabric I find unfortunately not quite clean, so that I noticed weaving errors, such as skipped threads, but this does not affect the wearing experience. In addition, the sling is relatively cheap in this size with a new price of 64€. Disadvantage of skipped threads, however, is that you can get stuck on it easier and thus faster thread pullers can form. After the first look, it was time for testing. First, I tied the Simple Backpack with Tibetan finish. Even though the weight per unit area is rather high, the sling tightened very well and I was able to tie it neatly. This was also due to the weave, which makes the sling grippy when tightening. In the next test, I tried the wrap-around cross-carry.

Again, nothing changed in the tying. However, since the sling seems quite thin, I found the single-layer tying methods, such as the Single Backpack and the Wrap Cross Sling, no longer particularly comfortable after an hour at the latest, which is why I finally tried a multi-layer tying method, the Double Hammock. Here, the wearing sensation became much more pleasant. My son got more support from the second layer on his back, and for me the weight was distributed even better by the layer over the chest.

Conclusion

Overall, I can say that I find the price-performance ratio of the sling very good. It is in single-ply tying more suitable for newborns or smaller children, but with increasing weight, it can also be used with multiple layers of tying still good.
