Pure Baby Love Tragetuch

I was allowed to test a sling and a ring sling for the Dutch manufacturer Pure Baby Love. In doing so, I write a test report each, even though they will duplicate each other in some points, such as the manufacturer information. So here is the test report for the sling in size 6.

Information about the sling and the manufacturer

The manufacturer Pure Baby Love writes on its website that the slings are produced with a lot of passion. Ergonomics, safety and quality are particularly important to them in the products. At the same time, the sling should also be chic.

Price-wise, the sling in size 6 is 85€. Thus, it belongs rather to the low-priced slings. In addition, the manufacturer offers free shipping within Europe from 68€, so that no shipping costs are added here.

I find that Pure Baby Love appeals to a large clientele through the simple single-colored slings. In my case, I was able to test the sling in "blue". However, this one seems more lilac in color.

Pure Baby Love claims that their slings are the "softest slings". As far as I can compare this to my previous test slings, I have to say, these slings are already very soft! This surprised me at first because the material is pure cotton. It does not seem thick, although I have also been allowed to try significantly thinner slings. From the first impression, I think it is also very suitable for newborns. But more about that later.

When wearing

My husband and I have tested the sling with different tying methods. For example, he carried our 3-year-old son in the Double Hammock. He found the sling supportive and warm. I can only confirm this impression. The tightening succeeds very well with the cloth, it does not slip and is easy to grip. Due to the rather low weight per unit area, I would rather prefer multi-layer tying methods on the back with larger children, because they support better.

I also tested the sling with the demo dolls from my babywearing consultations. Here my first impression was confirmed. Tying went very well, little fabric accumulated in the back of the knees. Due to the suppleness of the sling, it also clings nicely and lies comfortably on the shoulders. So it is a sling that can be used well from birth.

Washing

Since this is a test sling, I did not wash it. However, since it is pure cotton, washing should be no problem.

Conclusion

The sling from Pure Baby Love has a very good price-performance ratio. It can be tied well for both newborns and toddlers. The plain design of the sling is certainly appealing to many parents, although the name does not entirely match the actual sling color.
